I think this project is at least 8 years old now. I never did a true tutorial for it so I made a video. You will need some basic jewelry making supplies. A jeweler’s saw is a handy tool to have anyway. I use size 1 and size 2/0 saw blades, depending on how thick the metal sheets I’m using are. A good set of jeweler’s files are nice as well, but you can use whatever file you have handy. I have some silver, brass, and copper sheets in my studio from old projects. They vary in thickness from 20 to 24 gauge. See below for a visual.

The bench pin is also handy. You can probably figure out another way to cut the metal sheets but this makes it much easier. I had to do a wonky clamp job on my desk to get it into a position that worked for me.

My original piece had a felt heart in the middle. It disappeared at some point so I made another.

Anything will work for the center decoration. Just make sure it fits in your circle and you can attach a jump ring somehow.
